NEOWIZ GAMES

Neowiz Games is a leading Korean online game company and operator of popular game titles such as Special Force and EA Sports FIFA Online offered on a leading domestic game portal Pmang.com that has attracted 6 million active fun-seeking gamers in South Korea.

Game Development

Working with top game studios and talented developers, Neowiz Games has strengthened its in-house game development capabilities. It all started with our acquisition of an online game studio Mcube back in 2001. One year later, we introduced an online game portal PMang and started to provide online web-board game services. In 2006, we purchased another online gaming start-up, Thingsoft. Neowiz Games' development line became more powerful, and we unveiled the FIFA Online, which became an instant hit. Since then, a series of top quality games are under development including EA's Battlefield and Project GG.

Game Publishing

We have experience, expertise and a very effective tool, the online portal PMang, combined together to make us become the No.1 online games publisher in Korea. Although Neowiz Games was a relatively new player in the online game publishing business - We published our first title Special Force, an online first person shooting game, in 2004, we wrote a new history in the gaming publishing by generating more than KRW 5 billion a month from game item sales from our online casual games. Our monetization skill proved to be a great success and widely learned by both local and overseas online game publishers. We now offer more than 20 online web-board games and various online action, role-playing, sports and shooting games.

Overseas Business

Although we were a late comer in the online game business, we made a huge success in Korea. Now, we think it is time for Neowiz Games to explore overseas markets with great potentials. And we believe that our expertise and experience will be an effective and strong weapon to win the international market. As the first step to become a global name in the online game business, Neowiz Games bought a major Japanese gaming firm, GameOn, and is now working on to introduce the online game titles either we developed or published in the Japanese market. We have also built a partnership with major online games publishers in China, Vietnam, Taiwan, North America and Europe. In the meantime, impressed by Neowiz Games performance and potential, the world's largest computer games publisher Electronic Arts in March 2007, decided to invest KRW 100 billion in Neowiz Games and work with us to develop and publish new games.
